I really liked it here! At first I was hesitant to dine at an Asian restaurant in Banff.

Chinese food in Banff, Alberta? _Our tour bus drove past this place on our way to Fairmont Banff Springs Castle.

Although other people have already mentioned this, the 15% automatic tip was a little too much.

The menu is very standard Japanese, but just exceptionally well made. Everything was good, the sushi, the miso soup, the rice, the grill dishes, but my special recommendation goes to the sashimi. Here it is all about the ingredients, the freshness of the fish. The must have a tuna and salmon fishery in their backgarden, otherwise I cannot explain the quality.

I go to this one from time to time. Yes, undoubtedly it's a little bit expensive, but considering the quality it's worth going there. Also, the stuffs are really friendly and polite. Overall, for food and ambience, I give it a five out of five. To finish, I must say that the sashimi is awesome there. If you ever plan to go there, it's a must try :-)
