Baja West Coast Kitchen - Orrville

We are new to the area and we were very excited to try Baja West Coast Kitchen. There was a line when we walked in but it was just one party of six ahead of us. Our first concern was when I noticed one employee who was actively making guacamole for a customer but had his mask down around his chin instead of over his mouth and nose. My husband and I both work in healthcare so that was a little concerning, but we decided to wait and hope we got the other employee to make our food. However, neither employee waited on us. One proceeded to put a table together for the large party and carry their entrees out one at a time and the other proceeded to work on customers who were there for carry out orders. Neither employee acknowledged us or the two people in line behind our family. Then the employee without his mask on correctly used one of his gloved hands (which he kept on while checking out customers but didn’t change before going back to making food) to spread the sauce on the dough of a pizza he was making and that’s when decided to leave. We were disappointed we didn’t get a chance to try what looked like a nice, fresh option in Orrville.

New to the area. Tried for the first time. Staff member was super helpful with explaining the menu and his recommendations. Food was amazing! Definitely recommend this place!

Too bad this restaurant is so far from where I live. They have the best fish tacos I've found in Ohio along with terrific pizza and what I would call Island fresh items. I go there once a week if I can. They have a nice clean place and an excellent friendly staff. If you live in the area you would miss a good thing in not giving it a try.

The staff at this restaurant is always friendly and dedicated to their work. Some of them have even remembered my preference for no onions in my usual order. The food is excellent and the service is top-notch.

I was really wanting their delicious white pizza. I placed an order for pickup and they mistakenly made the wrong pizza (shark repellent) by accident. They gave me that pizza for free and proceeded to make the correct one. I waited about 10 minutes and picked up my new pizza. When I got home, it turned out to be another shark repellent. The customer service and taste were excellent, rating 10/10. However, their listening skills were lacking, scoring only 1/5. I personally don't eat pepperoni, but my family enjoyed it.
