The service is top notch, always friendly and efficient. I've never had any complaints the food is consistently fresh and flavorful, and the speed of service is impressive. Whether you're a student or a local, Tacorita is a must visit for a five star dining experience!

This is my go to shop whenever I’m in Orono. Even when I’m not in Orono I come here, I literally drive a half hour completely out of my way for a burrito from this place. One of the best comfort meals my wife and I could ask for, couple burritos, chips and queso, and some churros and Nutella for desert. The staff is always stellar, and the room is warm and welcoming.

Amazing food that never disappoints! Staff is so friendly and welcoming the atmosphere is laid back and comfortable. They also have super cute decor! Love this place that always has me coming back for more ?

It was one cold winter night, my vehicle had broken down in Orono while driving home. I was starving, but had no options until I saw the beautiful fluorescent hue of a building on Mill Street; Tacorita. Walking in the restaurant felt like being freed from a 29 year self-imposed prison sentence caused by a subpar diet of terrible Tex-Mex. I was immediately greeted as if I was a long lost family member. I asked what the cashier recommended and what I was told to order will stand as my last meal on this Earth when it is my time. The Tacodilla eradicated my hunger like it was Lebron crushing the all time scoring record, the margarita danced in my mouth like there was a disco on my tastebuds, and the staff treated me as if I just stepped off Air Force One. My time at Tacorita was so wonderful I completely forgot about my broken down vehicle, and when I eventually remembered someone had stole it. So I did what any sane person would do, I returned to Tacorita for a second round.

Though my family and I have gone into and ordered takeout from this establishment many times since it opened, never once have we been disappointed. Most recently my fiancé and I went in and I tried the monthly special, Reuben tacos with fried pickles, and it was phenomenal! The food, service and atmosphere has been great! Big shout out to anyone who can run a small business in a college town! Thank you for existing, Tacorita!!
