Saffron Indian Bistro - Oro Valley

Met a friend for lunch on the patio. We both had the lunch buffet, which was fresh and tasty. Nice atmosphere, even on a warm day.

Possibly the best Indian food I’ve had in a restaurant. Bonus: not everything comes out of the kitchen orange. I take that as a good sign. 2nd Bonus: they have kid approved chicken nuggets and waffle fries for the pickiest of eaters at your table.

The buffet has great choices. The food was good as usual. We wanted to have our kids try it when they were visiting and they really enjoyed it.

Amazing place with delicious food If you're a fan of spicy foods, you have to try Saffron restaurant. We tried all you can eat buffet and asked the staff about the level of spices and they told me most of foods are mild but to me they were so spicy leaded to an upset stomach since I'm not used to spicy food.

Just dined at one of my favorite indian restaurants today for lunch! This place is a true gem for authentic Indian food in Tucson. The menu offers a fantastic variety of dishes, with something to please every palate. I just barely caught the end of the lunch option and the waitstaff were incredibly helpful and nice despite me coming in to dine late. Every dish I tried was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. I even tried to eat faster than usual given the warm hospitality shown by management and the waitstaff. The restaurant itself has a wonderful ambiance. The decor is warm and inviting, and the music creates a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. It's a great spot for a special occasion or a casual weeknight dinner. Unfortunately, there was one server with tattoos on her arm and a nose piercing whose demeanor really took away from the experience. Her bad attitude and words said out of the side of her mouth really put a bad taste in mine. I hope this review finds her and management and corrections can be made. Until next time I
