Gelato Lacarraia (italian Ice Cream)

The flavors at Gelaterie La Carraia are always worth my time. The staff is all amazing and the quality of the ingredients is superb. I also enjoy their coffee and crepes. They offer additional items that myself and my guests appreciate. Today, Gigi took care of me and had my order ready as soon as I entered the store, despite ordering through Door Dash. Whether inside or outside, the atmosphere is pleasant and this location is definitely a fantastic local gem. Thank you again, Gigi. <3

I received a Gelato that was completely different from what I ordered. When I called the restaurant, Genesis claimed she had sent a message saying they were out of the flavors I wanted, but she actually didn't send anything. LaCarraia is at risk of losing a loyal customer because they failed to inform me of any changes to my order.

The person working here at 2:37pm on Monday, December 27, 2021 was the worst person I’ve ever had to interact with. She was incredibly rude and mean. I was with a group of 6 people, and we only ordered one thing because we all wanted to leave as soon as possible. She didn’t greet us, didn’t make any eye contact and when I asked a question about a flavor she answered with a rude short tone. This person made me never want to come here ever again and I think she should be fired immediately.

I came here with my family after dinner for the first time, and were helped by Genesis and Jasmine! They were super busy, hardworking and gave us great recommendations. There were a large variety of flavors to choose from, as well as multiple drink options! I ended up getting the pistachio and the last of the hazelnut chocolate. I will definitely be coming back here with my family soon!

After three years in Orlando, this is the first place where ice cream tastes like at home in Europe. You have Malaga! Pistachio taste is always a good test, it usually tastes like a chemically-artificial aroma, but here it tastes just as it should. The flavors we tried were all rich, creamy, and natural tasting could taste nothing artificial. Very enjoyed the ice creams and was looking forward to a new visit.
