Bidrage med feedbackWe visited this restaurant on its third night of reopening under new ownership. All the outdoor tables were near a heat source which is great for this February time of year. The pizza menu is extraordinary, with each pizza being 13 in diameter and one was plenty for my wife and me. We ordered the Sausage and Wild Mushroom and they accommodated our request to have the truffle oil on the side since my wife doesn 't like it . They do not allow you to have half of one pizza choice from the menu combined with half of another menu choice. The pizza was very tasty with an excellent crust. Their ground meats and pizza dough are made fresh daily and they source their products within a 100 mile radius whenever they can. The House Cocktails menu is very unique. My wife ordered the Beet Down and I ordered Feelin ' Fancy . BOTH were excellent! They also have 6 great artisan beers on draft as well as a Rosé cider on draft. If you are looking to have a quaint outdoor evening with excellent comfort food, PIZZA ! and extraordinary cocktails and beer, you ought to visit Piccolo Napoli! Oh! I forgot to also mention their excellent wine list as well!
This place is open! New owners and completely new restaurant!! Thank goodness. Best cocktails in town, and the artisanal pizza is to die for. Can't wait till they come out with the full menu once more dining is allowed.
This is NOT the same place it used to be!! Piccolo Napoli was bought and completely redone. New menu, new bar/cocktails, new service...everything is completely different and it's absolutely fantastic!!! They've started small with only pizzas right now but the dough is really goooood. We only had the margarita pizza, but the pizzas around us looked delicious and everyone said they were good too. They have really stepped it up in mixology cocktails too. We don't have anything like this in Orinda and I loved it!!! The service was really friendly and attentive. The owner came to our table to thank us for coming. He let us know they're expanding the menu and told us his plans for pastas, apps and desserts. If you've been in the past and weren't impressed, try again, it isn't the same place at al!! We will DEFINITELY be back!!!
Hubby and I stopped by last night and wow! They did not disappoint. We each got our own pizza (because why? Because pizza, duh! and both were ridiculously good. I got the Alfredo pie which had prosciutto, red onion, and creamy basil. And I opted for the gluten free crust (huge win!! Thanks guys . The hubby got the Diavola which had Calabrian sausage (love Calabrian chilies!! Super drool , mozzarella and a spicy sauce. He opted for the regular (with gluten crust, and loved it (I stole a bite from him so I can confirm his research! . If that wasn't enough, we paired this yummy deliciousness with a bottle of rose from Tuscany which paired fantastically. I love supporting small businesses and even more so during these trying times, and these guys will not disappoint. Their service was stellar, the food and wine was Ahhhhh-mazing and moderately priced. We will definitely be going again and again!!! Loving this addition to the hood!!
I ordered 3 pizza's to go on Wednesday night. I called in the order and picked it up, service was prompt and efficient. It was their first night under new management. I ordered one sausage and mushroom, one winter, and one margarita. My favorite part was the crust and the sauce, super fresh and delicious. My girlfriends thought the same. I also loved that the pizzas were perfectly sized, I ate half and saved the other for lunch this afternoon. After looking at the menu, I wanted to stay and have a cocktail, the cocktail menu looks fabulous and I can't wait to have drinks here with a few friends. Pick up was a breeze, and I felt the environment was safe and clean. Can't wait to come back and enjoy dinner and drinks with friends on their outside patio.
