Corner Bakery Cafe - Orem

I’ve been a costumer of this restaurant for many years I remember like two years ago we stopped eating there because of the bad service then a new management came and everything changed so It became my favorite place to eat with my family but I noticed that they were little by little changing the employees at the restaurant. Now they have a woman manager, I know that restaurants is not easy to manage, so today when I got there the coffee was cold and and I like my coffee with half and half so when I add that it makes the coffee even colder so I asked them if they could brew more, the girl said yes but then they kept dismissing me saying yes but never doing it, I got my food so i had to get some of the cold ‘hot’ coffee and when I went to get more I asked them if they could at least reheat it and they wanted to do it in the cup that I already used I told them that this cup it wasn’t a proper container to put it in to the microwave and then I complained for the poor service so the lady, the manager said to me that I should go and eat at another place. I think they are not trained or they don’t have the capacity to handle a big family/group and I don’t think they are ready to take care of the costumers complaints. I went yesterday to have breakfast and today, it’s not a cheap place to eat I spent almost $50.00 plus tip for two breakfasts and a side of pancakes to receive a poor service and the comment she made, no one wants cold coffee when it’s supposed to be hot coffee and overall what I’m most upset about isn’t even the coffee it’s the way they responded to me and the service I got, and the way the manager handled the situation.

Great atmosphere and very hospitable staff. We loved it!

If you are feeling low the chicken noodle soup is the prescription for what ails you. Pick it up or have it delivered. I have also met friends here for a good place to visit.

Twice this month the GM Tiffany helped me order breakfast and lunch for our staff meetings. Corner Baker did an amazing job and our team loved the food! I’ll be ordering from them again! Thank you!
