Happy Bibim Bap House - Oregon

I usually try to ignore all the religious messages posted all over their doors and windows, but this message on my take-out is too much. Keep it to yourself!

I love this place! Everytime I am in town, I find a way to get downtown to get the dol sot bibimbap and kimbap.

If you order the ramen, which you should, expect a full meal. The ramen was fantastic!

I’m not sure why the locals recommend it, the dishes did not hold up in terms of delivering authentic Korean food. My black bean noodle was just noodles, onions, and black bean paste; it did not come with pork as advertised and lacked flavor. My friend got the kimchi soup and the pork was rubbery.

The owner and staff were very warm and kind. We were on a road trip and stopped here and were blown away. Wish we lived closer. Will be back next trip back!
