Groundstone - Orange

This café is absolutely beautiful with a welcoming atmosphere. The meals were fantastic and delicious with a wide variety of options on the menu. The coffee was also exceptional. Make sure to visit this place next time you're in Orange!

This very modern and bright caffe was recommended to us and is located on the ground floor of the regional orange museum, but on the side of the building that is not opposite the road. accordingly it would be easy to miss as we. on our first pass. the breakfast menu had all the usual breakfast dishes, although the brunch and lunch menus had a few changes and looked more interesting. Eggs on cough and smash avocado are quite simple dishes, but they were well made. Coffee and freshly pressed orange juice were good. they ordered at the counter, got a number and brought the food and drinks to the table. the personal was friendly.

Amazing! Delicious food, super quick service and food delivery and great customer service. Would definitely recommend even for dietary intolerances.

Really poor customer service experience unfortunately from the moment we walked in. Café was not busy. Asked for a table for 2 was told abruptly to go to a particular table and then ignored whilst staff stood around chatting and that particular staff member stood...around texting on his phone. We were ignored for almost ten minutes when I got up and asked for the menus myself which we had seen them take to other tables. Food was ok but on the expensive side for what it is. I’m only giving this place 3 stars for the food customer service would be a 1! Would not return.

I arrived just as staff were packing up to close so not much food choice and kitchen had already closed for hot foods. Staff were very accomodating and I ended up choosing a pie which would not be my usual choice. Food was fine. Being...near the Visitors Centre and Museum is a great plus too and they are open for breakfast. Good place to dine at.
