By far the nicest people in town. They are always nice and helpful. Very friendly people. And the food is Great. I love rice and gravy and they give it with every meal. They are very helpful, I'm allergic to fish and they always make my food in fresh oil. No other restaurant I've been to has ever done that for me. Im So glad I've found this hidden gem. Can't say enough things about the food and people. I got the catfish shrimp plate with collars and sweet potatoes. Light cornmeal batter crunchy fish perfection. Collars solid and simple. Sweet potato little chunky and delicious like thanksgiving day! Real deal southern cooking.

Oxtail Dinner is on? Tried the Beef Tips on My recent visit and enjoyed the flavor of that moment ? served with Greens and Yams?along with 2 Dr Pepper drinks

This is an awesome place. Had meatloaf, rice and black-eyed beans. Was delicious, some of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend a visit you won’t be disappointed!!!

There are no words to describe this slice of heaven on earth. Me and the crew have a hard time finding genuine restaurants while working on the road , but this was it . I shed a tear when I ate my first bite. When I was done I had to go call my mom . Thank you From American Pools .See you next week
