Quiet and relaxing place where you can cool down with some fancy tea, coffee or icecream. Beside selling books there are also books to read while you're there. Furniture has lots of different styles, including some decent tables and a children's corner in the back. Great personnel and service, only downside is they don't sell sandwiches or other food.

If you need to cool off on a hot day or want some peace and quiet in a unique place....I whole heartedly recommend some R&R.I have visited the location in the Oradea fortress (there is one in the city center as well) and fell in love on the spot. R&R is a book shop, and they serve drinks as well, from tea to wine (guess what I got). The location is splendid, fusing the old fortress walls with classic furniture and trinkets of all sorts. The mood is unique...

R&R (Ratio et Revelatio) Bookstore and Coffee Shop - inside the old fortress of Oradea (Nagyvarad) city. Simply wonderful.

We discovered the place by accident in the city center. Great music, good coffee (the latte macchiato is awesome) and the best cheese cake we had in a while. When receiving the check we also got a book recommendation - a much appreciated idea! We'll be back!
