However, I wanted to provide an update from my visit on 9/14/22. The dining room was closed due to staff issues, which made ordering from the website a slow and frustrating experience. While I enjoyed my food, it wasn’t up to the standard I was expecting. When I took it home, it was quite dry, the driest I’ve had in a long time. Overall, my experience today did not meet the quality I’ve come to expect from this place.

I've been dining at Takiki in both Opelika and Birmingham for several years, and I've always enjoyed the food at both locations. My favorite dish is the chicken with rice and lemon soup. They have regular daily specials that are consistently good. However, I do have some complaints: the prices are quite high for a fast-casual lunch experience, the parking situation is challenging, and you have to wait in line to place your order like at a fast food restaurant. To top it off, they have the audacity to ask for tips when they bring a tablet to your table for payment. I believe they should ensure their workers are appropriately compensated.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our experience. From the items we ordered, only half were available. The fountain drink machine only had two options, and there was no apology or explanation for why many items were missing from the menu.

I have been eating late today with the intention of getting an salad. the lammburger sounded good, so I have it instead. a word, wow! Maybe it was the best burger I've ever eaten in my 40s. the lamb was seasoned and cooked for perfection. I like a burger with flare so that the red paprika, grilled tweepers and feta were on the ground. the Kaiser-Back was still soft, he held well together. burgers are not my usual visit, but I will come back for this.

I love Taziki?s food! They offer a variety of Mediterranean food and I always love their salads. It was near closing time the other day and I did not feel rushed to leave. My favorite is the signature pasta but that?s not pictured, but the chicken rolls ups with roasted new potatoes and basmati rice.Thanks for great food and customer service.
