Northwest Seafood Outlet - Opa Locka

I have been coming to this fish market for years. Sometimes I cook my fish and sometimes I let them cook it. The quality of the fish is good and fresh, but when it comes to customer service and order this is the worst place in the world to come to. So I arrived at the fish market at 12:03 pm and placed my order. They said it would take 20 minutes for my order to be ready. So I patiently waited. After 30 minutes I asked what was the status of my order. I was ignored by 3 employees. Everyone just said that you have to wait. Now 45 minutes have passed and everyone who came after me got their food and left. The one hour mark and now I'm pissed AF. I starting to complaining and all they said is you have to wait. The manager finally came over to see what was going on and when I explained the situation, she went and checked where my order was and said that they just started preparing it. She offered no sympathy, discount or refund. The attendant who served me gave me a free Conch Salad for my inconvenience. One and twenty minutes after I arrived I received my food. They never have to worry about me returning to their establishment EVER, EVER AGAIN!!!

I've been eating here for many years and let's just say this by far the best conch , fish and shrimp I had. This is a hidden gem and also attached to a market. This is why it's the best. I always get the seafood trio and side among quarter conch and fries. My husband and I share this all the time. My kids love the food and the pease and rice is delicious. Everytime I have a craving for great freshly cooked seafood, here is the spot. You can either order directly from the menu or pick out your catch straight from the icee. Yes, they do take long to cook the order because of the volume, and yes, they do close a little to early for me, but it's good eats!

Man listen...not a whole lot to say about this place except for the food is excellent. The 4 star rating is due to the long wait times. I chose two catfish fillets that were cut up and fried into nuggets. Best catfish nuggets I've ever had; EVER. I also tasted the shrimp and oysters. Shrimp was good, but I think they shorted me on my oysters. To avoid the long wait times you may be able to call your order in. They answer the phone when they feel like it. Also, this place is located in a certain part of town, so please know your surroundings. I'm all for a hole-in-the-wall and am glad I checked this place out.

Fresh seafood and flavorful I wish we have this in TN. The wait is lil too long but it's worth it
