Chico's By Robin - Onamia

I ordered from the special menu, only to be informed that it was outdated and that the dish I wanted was no longer available. It felt strange that they would leave a marker on the menu for something that had been crossed out. Additionally, the salt on my plate was spilled before it was presented to me. The other dishes we ordered were sent back due to issues, and they seemed to have to re-open the wine bottle, which appeared cloudy. The patrons at the neighboring table also returned their food. When we arrived, we noticed that all the waitstaff were gathered at the station, and about five of them were busy on their personal phones. We ended up waiting until they were ready to serve us. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. Perhaps we’ll give it another try in a year.

This place has the best all-you-can-eat shrimp and fish, with a variety of potato options. The waitresses are wonderful and very welcoming. We love visiting on Fridays. Thank you, Chicos!

We visited the restaurant with a group of five but were only given four menus. There was a special menu that we received at one table, but I missed the complimentary chips and salsa that I'm accustomed to. The decor featured German mugs, which seemed out of place since the menu had no German dishes. I decided to order from the special menu, only to find out it was outdated and the item I wanted was no longer available. I suppose I should have marked it so they could update their menu? My husband's dish was so overly salty it was almost inedible. One of our guests requested their meal without onions, but it took a long time for them to remake it. The table next to us sent their dish back as well. We might give the restaurant another try in a year. When we arrived, all the waitresses were huddled together at the station, distracted by their personal cell phones, and we had to wait to be seated until they were ready to attend to us. Overall, we left feeling disappointed.

The food was wonderful and the service was outstanding.
