Star Indian Cuisine - Omaha

I had great experience today and a very cordial greeting of rake suppsh, another person I missed to ask her name, they were both very friendly, helpful at taking me with my sleeping child, I ordered cute 55, huh tikka, ziegenbiryani, garlauch naan, butter naan here, the eating started quickly with the free papade, green c I had spl an inquiry salat with sweet, they honor my request and got the salat the best salat I had in the last days, I ask the owners to have this salat on their menu, I would definitely recommend if they want a good Indian food.

Best Indian food around, maybe anywhere! Cauliflower appetizer is fried crispy with a delicious chili sauce over it. The Tikka Masala has great flavor and was not at all spicy for my little ones. You can add spice if you want but too many places are spicy even at the base. The lamb vindaloo was tender and full of flavor with a bit of kick. Palak Paneer was full of flavor with lots of cheese. They also brought out the Galub Jamun milk cakes in syrup as a sample. I've had these at a buffet and have never been too impressed (too spongy and sweet) but these were amazing! Freshly fried and tasted a bit like a funnel cake and the there wasn't too much sweet syrup to overpower the flavor. We'll definitely consider getting them as a treat in the future. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend to others and will be returning soon.

Yum! My wife and I are new to Indian cuisine. Everything was delicious. The staff was incredibly helpful and very nice. Can't wait to go back.

Everyone hear me out. The first time coming to this restaurant, I was blown away not only by their outstanding service, their food in itself puts Omaha on the map!The owners are welcoming, their staff defines outstanding customer service, and their food is nothing less than an explosion of flavors.To be more honest, after the first night, we found ourselves returning every night (3 Nights In A Row) for the duration of our trip!Spark your curiosity and come find out for yourselves!10/10

While traveling for work I visited Star Indian with a colleague as he has never had Indian Cuisine before. Here is my feedback:1. The service here is impeccable! Both Sipra and Rakhesh made it a point that they came and said hello to us every night we were there. Yes, we were here three nights (our entire trip). Being from a Pakistani decent, I am normally not used to getting “great” service at Indian/Pakistani restaurant. Star has now set a bar that may be hard to reach by other venues.2. The FOOD IS DELICIOUS!!! In the three nights we tried their Gobi Duplex (my favorite), Chili chicken (my 2nd favorite), chicken tikka, butter chicken, goat kadai, dal, subji handi, kheer, gulab Jaman. All of these dishes were incredible! I honestly wish I could write on here about something that wasn’t good but damn everything was good.In all honesty, the owners here are amazing and love what they do. It clearly shows in their food. Hats off to them and the chefs. Rakesh and Sipra, I wish you guys the best of luck in the future and I know whenever I am in town I will make it a point to stop in.
