Jones Bros Cupcakes - Omaha

Wow! I can’t believe I’ve never written a review for Jones Bros. I’ve been coming to this location since 2013 when I lived in Pinhook Flats! After a long, hot day at Maha, we stopped by Jones Bros, where a fantastic team was serving up burgers. My husband decided on the burger meal after chatting with one of the friendly guys flipping burgers. He was so personable and accommodating. We requested cold mayo instead of the warm stuff sitting out in the sun, and he went inside to get it for us. We ended up eating inside the restaurant, which was spacious and clean despite the heavy foot traffic from the festival. The burger was outstanding, loaded with all the delicious toppings, and it was incredibly tasty. The meal came with their house-made chips, which were super crispy, and for dessert, we enjoyed a mini decadent cupcake — a perfect ending to our meal! I've also ordered cupcakes and macarons from here before, and they have one of my favorite vanilla bean macarons.

Came here on the recommendation of a friend. They had Jones Bros do the cupcakes for their wedding. I loved the ambiance of the place and it has SOOOO many choices. I had a hard to picking out a birthday snack or two. I eventually settled on a slice of the Rainbow Pride cake and a salted caramel brownie. Both were beautifully decorated. They were moist and a relatively good portion for the price. However, I was disappointed in the taste for both. : The rainbow cake had a ton of almond flavor. It was too much for me. I like almond but I wish this cake was toned down a bit. The brownie had a flavor that I just didn't love either. I thought it was the icing but I'm pretty sure it was in the brownie base. Despite all that, I think I'd still come back to Jones Bros to try some of the other items to find something I love.

I see so many mixed reviews here and it's funny to me. Never had a bad cupcake from here. Plus they have very creamy ice cream. Took my boys tonight for a treat. Chocolate ice cream was delicious!!! They Oreo cupcake and chocolate cupcake were both moist and flavorful. My boys loved them!

I just wanted to mention the importance of keeping your website updated with accurate closing times. After a movie last night, my friends and I were in the mood for a treat. Since it was almost 9 PM, our options were limited, but both the website and the maps indicated that you closed at 10 PM. When we arrived at 9:14, we saw employees inside, but the doors were locked. The posted hours matched what we had seen online, but a note on a secondary door revealed new hours. What a disappointment! We would have appreciated knowing about the updated closing times before driving out, especially since we knew there were no treats available so late. Please make sure to update your operating hours on your website and social media so that others don’t waste their time and fuel getting excited for some delicious treats, only to find out they’re not available.

I came here to get a coffee, but I received something completely different from what I ordered. I had also ordered a mocha, but the guy told me that a mocha and a mocha latte are the same thing, and he still served me the wrong drink. Instead of the hot coffee I requested, I got a cold latte, and the other drink was also a cold latte instead of the mocha. It was truly disappointing, especially after making the drive to try this place.
