The dinner was wonderful! I am very sad to report that they conclude this month for supply issues. they don't order anything they run out because they close, but even without the jackenfries, my 2 rib dinner with koleslaw was as always, absolutely delicious. if they have a chance in the next 10-12 days, they will get a final eating of them. it was delicious, but very bittersweet for me. a south-omaha iconic restaurant will soon be closed. the personal was friendly as always. I will miss this place. go as long as you can.

Great place to get some fried carp or cats with friends and family. they also have fried chicken, salmon and grilled chicken. quite expensive for eating. fried carp is good to order. I have the grilled chicken because the fish has too many bones so I eat and out how I go. grilled chicken was a bit on the dry side, but ok. came with 2 sides might have 6 pages to get from). I liked the cole Slav and we had fried garnelen appetizer that was good.

Great fried cats! mr. dave suggested we try this joe tess fried cats. large fish. was perfectly cooked. will come back soon. if not tomorrow.

It was fantastic as always. my family has been there since I was a child. today we took mine and not. eating was great as always as the service. a true sign

For the history and fried food, excellent. For culinary tastiness, hmmmm. Not so good. It’s definitely an experience, not a great food choice. I had a grilled trout dinner which was very tasty, but everything ordered by the folks we ate with.... lots of batter, fat and yuck. Very unhealthy regarding your heart but fun to experience once!
