Himalayan Java - Omaha

A little gem in downtown Omaha. Order the Momos, a Himalayan dumpling, you will NOT be disappointed. Iced Americano was excellent also. Good service nice atmosphere.

I've been here a few times. The place has a wide selection of coffee snacks. The shop itself is quite large and has plenty of seating. Many board games, tables space for books, laptops etc. On each trip in you can observe numerous college kids slipping coffee do homework etc. I personally enjoyed the view of the front and the people who looked at it. Downtown Omaha has no lack of interesting personalities on the display. I would definitely recommend this coffee shop if you are in the area. My only complaint would be the back parked in front. It has made me skip this place and go to another nearby coffee shop.

Come for Momos (Tibetan Knödel) on Wednesday and Saturday (11:30-1:30)! You're delicious! The spices are perfect and get the mix of spicy sauces gives you a kick, but don't let you sweat. I also recommend the Himalaya Chai. The coffee is also very strong and delicious.

One darn sexy cup of café. Friendly does not begin to describe the people who work here. They go above and beyond to learn your name and remember it along with your favorite drink order. it is definitely a coffee shop you can effectively work from if you still use paper and need to have something printed. There is space to sit outside and enjoy the weather and plenty of sitting inside as well. Take a minute or two to look over the menu. Their food offerings are definitely ethnic and definitely worth trying.

Nice place to stop in for a coffee and a pastry. Cozy atmosphere and welcoming staff, I could spend hours in here hanging out, sipping coffee and reading a good book
