I love Max's Fried Chicken because despite being a long-standing establishment, they have kept up with the changes of the past decades and years. From then until now, they have remained a part of Filipino food culture. They have maintained the quality of their food and even improved over time. Many Filipinos and Filipino families have enjoyed their delicious and famous Fried Chicken along with other dishes like pancit, chopsuey, and sinigang--home-cooked dishes given their own signature touch. When I was young, my family often ate here every Sunday. Now, even with friends, we all want to go back to Max's Fried Chicken, which has been our favorite since we were kids. Only at Max's can you taste the incomparable fried chicken that pairs perfectly with Jufran Banana Ketchup. They may have even bought it to make the Banana Ketchup exclusive to them, making it even more difficult for others to replicate their unique flavor. Max's now also has a Bakeshop that started with just their caramel bars and ensaymada. I wouldn't be surprised if the taste of Max's food continues to be enjoyed by future generations, even up to our descendants.
This restaurant is a total rip-off when it comes to ordering spring chicken for delivery through Food Panda. The listed price is only P205, but when my friend tried to purchase it for me, she was charged P355 because we are located nearby. This is complete highway robbery and that's why I am giving them a zero-star rating. SCAM SCAM SCAM.
