Chuck's Grub - Omaha

We were looking for no-nonesense, easy-to-eat food while walking around the mall. So no rice meals. We found Chuck's Grub Fish and chips and decided to try them. PROS: It looks like legit fish and chips that you'd get in some pub in London. And their cone with all the trimmings inside makes it look all the more appetizing; Their fish has a light, non-greasy batter and fresh-tasting insides.; They offer rice meals too and other items in their menu like calamares and burgers. CONS: Their fish and chips offering is actually quite expensive, for some fish fillet that has unexpectedly small serving sizes and unexpectedly non-life-changing taste. I mean it was OK but what I felt after eating was that it was bitin in taste and quantity. Maybe I just had high expectations of being blown away. TL;DR: Light and well-prepared fish and chips that just fell short of our expectations.

Fish and Chips is one of my top picks when it comes to comfort food. If the ubiquitous inihaw, sizzling, pizza, pasta or burger joints you see around malls, then Chuck's Grub might be great for you. The great thing about is is that you're not stuck with Cream Dory which I know most people don't like very much because of the unpleasant, fishy aftertaste; you may opt for White River Cobbler, Snapper or Halibut. The fries are pretty good, too thick cut and lightly salted. Yum!

I always be a fan of fish fillet. Whether it has sweet and sour sauce or just to dip in a garlic sauce or ketchup. I just love it. Their fish burger was fabulous! I also I want their unlimited chips but I only tried that once until their promo ended. When you order here, just bring a little patience coz it will take 20-30mins.until you get your orders but it is worth waiting for. But now where the heck is this in SM Megamall?! There location near food court was replace by a pasta house. Well, I just visit their SM MOA branch. All I can say that they have the BEST FISH&CHIPS EVER!
