Bidrage med feedbackA small local restaurant with excellent food and service. The best stone pot and dukbokgi in Olympia area. I've tried all the other Korean shops and this one may take the cake. I'll be making this my weekly foodie spot for some superb Korean comfort food.Food: 5/5
Excellent. I am often wary of asian food spots in Olympia that have too much variety .. sushi and Chinese food for example, Thai and sushi etc. K town has variety, but pulls it off with quality too. Their katsu sandwich is my favorite so far. It had a little bit of spicy mayo type sauce and cabbage in there with the breaded chicken, and it was all very good.I ordered it with a side of jalapeno macaroni salad, and while it wasn't spicy at all, it was very tasty. I like spicy food so this was a bit of a let down, bit the flavor was very good. Will order again.I saw a very nice beef and rice bowl come out, and my wife ordered a very good udon. The broth was light and the noodles weren't soggy. I want to come back and try more items off the menu, like their Bulgogi beef bowl, or the ramen as well. All in all a great spot for lunch, would love to see what they could do in a brick and mortar, as the place was spotless clean and very well organized.
I'm never disappointed with anything I order. Best value Korean in the area: they really pile on the ingredients for the rice bowls there's usually another meal's worth of leftovers and it's even better the next day. I love that you can order online and pick up with no hassle. Family favorites here are bulgogi bibimbap, spicy pork japchae and japchae rolls. My kiddo could probably have japchae rolls for dinner every night happily.
This place was great when it first arrived but the quality has really tanked. I got the bulgogi bibimbap and it is now about half the size of what it used to be, the spinach tasted off (like spoiled) and none of the veggies were good. The brown rice is coated with some sort of oil or fat making it disgusting to eat (AND THREE DOLLARS MORE -ugh). I tossed it and made something from my fridge leftovers that was a million times better. This food is too expensive for second chances. Goodbye ktown.
I'm only giving it one star because I've never actually been here. My housemate is a super fan of K-pop so I'll bet she took my phone with her when she went out to eat here. She also likes other Korean foods. I'm going to have to find a new hiding place for my phone now. I'm guessing that the food, service and atmosphere are excellent.Food: 5/5
