Jerk-n-go Olympia Fields

This here was one of the best spots I've been to in a while. Shoot I pull up and I'm not going to lie I was Amazed with how thorough my chicken was cooked. Every bite had me anticipating the next! If this place isn't on the map or top rated it should be! Major thank you to the cooks.

This place is so terrible the food doesn't taste like Jamaican food it taste like American food. The cabbage taste soggy and the plantins was burnt. The food taste like something you can just make at home. Almost $18 for curry dinner is terrible. This is the worst Jamaican place I ever been at before in my life.

However, THIS YEAR was a completely different story, and that's why I'm writing this review. We ordered over $300 worth of catering well in advance for Christmas. When I arrived at the designated pickup time, they asked me to come back in 30 minutes. After waiting, I returned only to be told to wait another 20 minutes! They had requested a phone number when we placed the order, but no one called to inform us of the delay. When we finally received the food, I was shocked to find that there was NO bread, NO gravy for the rice (neither on the side nor included), and NO sauce for the meat. For a $300 order, this is simply unacceptable. It seems to confirm the saying that nothing good lasts forever. The poor communication and terrible customer service were extremely disappointing! We will not be returning.

The Olympia Fields location hosted a small gathering, and everything was delicious and fresh. We received numerous compliments on the juiciness and flavor of the chicken. The rice and peas, cabbage, and mac and cheese were equally delightful. Overall, it was a generous amount of food for the price.

This is definitely one of my favorite places for jerk food. The wait time is quite reasonable, and the food is consistently excellent. The only area they could improve on is being a bit friendlier at times, but other than that, it's a fantastic spot.
