Hatuchay Tower - Ollantaytambo

It is from the season and rainy and so it was maybe a little out of the restaurant. There were only 2 tables occupied and yet the service was painfully slow. The menu offered various types of burgers, but we chose the one marked carne . I would have done well to ask exactly what kind of carne (meat). When the burgers finally arrived, they were about 1/8 centimeters strange, and in my case almost raw, meat. The rolls were the main course. Instead of pimples, there are cukes and this taste penetrates the bread so that you taste little different even if you remove them. We both had terrible stomach problems after this disaster of lunch. I'm sure there are good things on the menu. Hamburgers are not one of them.

The restaurant was comfortable, but probably not our best choice. I had the cuddly horneo, but I didn't find it well prepared. The skin was gummy to eat. The staff was healing and noticed the problem that reduced the meal. Beautiful people, but I can't recommend the cook

Had an excellent lunch in the restaurant Royally entertained by a Peruvian singing group. It was self-service and you could go back as often as you wanted. You could also have as many soft drinks as you wish was the Inca Cola, which was beautiful and refreshing

We stayed here for one night and our room had a balcony with a great view. The rushing river below provided a relaxing sleep after the strenuous hikes of Machu Picchu. Dinner was complimentary. My friend and I ordered the alpaca steak which was decent. Neither of us had ever had it before so I can't really compare their version to anyone elses.

We arrived exhausted after the tour of Machu Picchu and was grateful for a quick clean up at the neat washrooms. Food was warm and nice and the service was really nice. WE had the buffet lunch as part of the tour package. We visited in March 2012.
