Bidrage med feedbackGreat tostas mistas ham and cheese toasties..with milky coffees watching the locals and tourists interact ..
Staying at hotel with expensive restaurant we wanted a trip out for a straight forward fish dinner. It was 8pm and everywhere was busy but got last table for 2 outside Pierrot’s. We chose our fish from chill display. Both had a whole sea bream. This was seasoned and grilled on the bone just as we like it. Served with mediocre chips/fries but the quality of the fish made for a great meal. With a beer each the bill was around 30 Euro. Pretty good value.
Located in the main square (well the only square), this is a good little cafe. It was busy, but worth the wait for an excellent cheese and ham toastie. Coffee was also good
When it use to be Pierrot the food/fish was always very good. Today my husband had a hamburger it was clearly from deep fried not fresh. He already finished his cold fries and burger then (after asking) I had my robalo. Oh boy it didn't even tasted or looked like robalo. One waiter was blaming the other for not serving me at the same time as my husband. That for me is so poorly. We had Sangria it was oké but too much cinnemon. Never ever will we eat there again . 30 euro's wasted.
Having visited Fuseta a few years in a row, Pierrot had been our favorite go-to place the first time we were there. It had fresh, high-quality food at great prices, something that can be said about all the restaurants around the square. But what made Pierrot stand out was the outstanding service, relaxed, incredibly friendly and attentive. Last time we were there, we learned that ownership had changed and while Pierrot didn't change much from looking at it, the staff now had changed. Waiters were a bit too eager to come across as entertainers. This is something that is probably called for in tourist towns, but it doesn't quite fit into Fuseta. However, that's just my point of view and it definitely isn't meant to say that the waiters weren't nice enough, because they were. Also, food and prices are still good and Pierrot is still a place I can recommend without reservations. It just used to be even a little better before.
