Maresia - Olhão

Popped in here for lunch in Fuesta. A lot of the usual fish restaurants were closed at this time of year but the restaurant saved the day. Due to the season a smaller selection of fresh fish is available but I had fabulous Stone Fish while the boss had lamb chops which were perfectly cooked. Good service. Nice restaurant. We sat inside but most still dined outdoors. A great Vino Verde to wash things down both of us left happy.

Fabulous food, fresh fish cooked on bbq, delicious steaks and other choices on menu. Served with a lovely glass of Sangria and a smile, staff here are just amazing working under pressure with a never ending queue of people waiting patiently for a table. Desserts are delicious too recommend the passion fruit mouse, my fave in Fuseta

Atmosphere, food, and service were all extremely good. Not an easy find for a typical Portuguese cafe style restaurant. Ate on the front terrace. There are numerous others very nearby that are all fine, but this place stands out (I've eaten at three others). The waiter, Leonardo, was amazing. Took time and care to ensure food was cooked based on specific dietary restrictions in our party. He even caught en error and had another dish prepared with no issues at all. Would definitely recommend and will go back.
