Ikkyu - Old Ellicott City

It was good! Good in a home cooked meal kind of way! To me, this isn’t worth 15$. The pork was flavorless and overcooked. But the rice and curry were a 6/10 and the pasta salad was probably my favorite part of the meal.

My husband and I lived in Japan for a long time and we used to eat a lot of Japanese curry and udon back then. Ikkyu has really authentic tasting udon and curry. Sooo good.

#1 Udong. Japanese chicken noodle soup equivalent. Mild gentle broth. Fat yummy noodles. I keep coming back. Everything is good here.

Was craving Japanese curry and this hot the spot We liked the combo plate, only complaint is have was that the soup base was a little light on flavor/ salt Other than that good food for being in a grocery store cafeteria

The food is always tasty but the prices have definitely risen over the years and prices as of December 2021 certainly reflect the owner's need to recoup from her pandemic losses.
