Asumari - OLBIA

We stayed at this hotel which was very pleasant, but cannot defend the high price. This hotel restaurant was even more expensive with below average food quality. An extra point for nice and attentative staff.

Very nice restaurant with very friendly staff and excellent service. Eating is well prepared and tasty, but not appropriate in relation to the price.

My husband and I got reservations to this restaurant through our hotel. We showed up and our server had no time for us, he was rude, never checked up on how we liked the food, forgot one of the main courses. The food was ok but kind of served like fast food, not really warm, came out within 3 minutes of ordering it, the eggplant parmigiana wasn’t warm through out and first second course arrived at the same time. The 2nd course was cold by the time I could get to it. I encourage you to explore the area for other restaurants.

Hit and miss, with service and food, but the environment and views were splendid and stunning. The sommelier support was non-existent. We just closed our eyes and picked a Sardinian wine, hoping for the best. The best is what we got, so at least their offerings are reliable. Our meals were included in the price of the hotel, so we didn't suffer too much from knowing what it cost, with the exception of the wine. If one does not speak Italian, getting explanations of menu items was impossible. Overall, it was certainly above average, but not really in line with the luxury accommodation hosting this restaurant.

Fine dining at a stunning location by the sea. Fabulous 5-course evening meal served at the hotel. Try to get a table up front for the most spectacular views! Good wine card.
