Spices East Indian Dining - Okotoks

I went to this restaurant for dinner last Thursday evening. The service was good overall, but they almost forgot a drink that was ordered, and it took a while for them to bring it to the table.

I cannot express how amazing the scents were when I entered this restaurant.

We ordered pickup and had a slight mixup on our order. Turned out to not be an issue in the end but cost us a little time in having to go back to double check. As a compensation the manager added in a free bag...More

My first visit to this restaurant will be my last. We arrived at the restaurant at 6.15pm and the restaurant was busy, which is what you would expect. Our server was a delightful young lady who said there was a wait for table, which was fine. We were seated at 6.30 Our order was taken shortly after that. There we sat, watching take out after take out being sent out whilst tables were waiting to be served. When asked when food was being served we were told it was coming. It did at 8.15 and not together. I asked our server why the delay? Noting that take out seem to be the priority not customers at the table. Management completely abdicated their responsibility by letting their staff take the flak. The food, in keeping with the service. No blame on the poor serving staff, they did their best coping with poor management.
