1492 New World Latin Cuisine - Casady Square

The Azteca combo was full of flavor and delicious. The double order of fajitas was also amazing, with the steak having a better sear and flavor than the chicken. Both were tasty. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting, very clean and organized. I wasn't a fan of the cilantro rice, as it tasted like Uncle Ben's rice from Walmart. The regular tomato-based Spanish rice and refried beans were great though.

This restaurant used to be a favorite of ours, but unfortunately, our recent visit was disappointing. We went in for Taco Tuesday and ordered our usual. My first drink was mostly ice, so I asked for a refill with less ice. The server returned with the same drink, so we sent it back. The owner's wife, who was behind the bar, took out some ice but the drink was still not filled to the top. This lack of customer service was disappointing, especially coming from an owner. Despite this, the tacos at this restaurant are still incredible. I hope that this feedback leads to improvement in the future. I recommend trying the midtown location instead.

I am always impressed by this restaurant. The food is exceptional, the presentation is lovely, the staff is attentive and caring, and the atmosphere is relaxing. I keep coming back and will continue to do so, as they have earned my loyalty.

First off. The decor was giving latin vibes all the way. The food was amazing, so hot damn good! On top of that it was fast like 10mins after we ordered. Sebastian was our waiter kool kid made us feel comfortable 1st timers Now them drinks???????????????????? are on point. When you get one you 'll ???? what I mean. I loved 1492 for its quality and freshness. The waiter was so polite and invited is back for Taco Tuesday and brunch. The mojito was perfect for me too.
