Chef Remzi Italian - Okemah

I recently moved to the area and had an excellent experience at this restaurant. The food was wonderful, and the service was outstanding. We will definitely return!

My salad was drenched in ranch dressing—apparently, they didn't have French dressing, which I could accept, but using half a bottle of ranch was excessive. Additionally, I was left wondering what kind of meat was used in the meatballs served with the spaghetti. Oh, and the sauce? It was watery and lacked any substance. True story.

Charming old building, but it could use a thorough cleaning. I ordered the pasta sampler and was quite disappointed. The flavors were bland, and the cheese overwhelmed the other pasta dishes. The waitress was friendly, and the prices were reasonable, but unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy my meal. On a positive note, the bread and salad were good.

They were understaffed the day we went with a big party table in before us. It was well worth a longer wait for the food because WOW! Finally! Good Italian food! Manicotti was so delicious ???? place was clean and server was busy but very nice andcommunicative. 10/10 will recommend and return!

I don't even know that I'd give this place a one star. Only reason is the atmosphere and service was pretty good. Getting out of the car we see the kitchen door is wide open, No screen door! Thought well that might not be a good thing, but went ahead inanyway. (some of the best places we ever ate was hole in the wall places) We did like the decor, the waitress was very nice, butthe food was not good! I had the chicken picata. Chicken was pounded out very thin and was dry (yes even with the sauce) So thesauce.....it was very bitter like they didn't drain the capers and used lime juice instead of lemon juice. I couldn't even eatit. Hubby had the all meat pizza and said the meat tasted old. The bread and house salad were good tho. Because of the kitchendoor being left open, the flies were horrible! Needless to say we won't be back!
