Brahma Bull - Okeechobee County

The menu offers a large selection of meals however the beef (steaks) are their specialty. The service is somewhat focused on the bar that on the meal. It sure takes less time to have a beer than your meal. We were a group of 19 people and waited 2 1/2 hours for our plate eventhough we had made reservations and none of us had ordered complicated plate (pasta, chicken, steaks). However, the main problem with this place is not the food nor the service...it is with the front desk HOSTESS. In the past they had an hostess that was way past the age of being at the font desk of a restaurant. She was always confused operating the cash register or credit card payment. Lately this elderly hostess has been replaced with one that has ABSOLUTELY no manners, rude with customers and no appreciation for tourists. She was also rude with the server as she brought her to tears in front of the group for a non issue. She was very vocale with our group that she didn't need our money to operate the business. The group (bet 15 20 people) has enjoyed going to Brahma Bull for the past several year during our winter holidays but due to the negativity of the Hostess our group decided to not support this local restaurant anymore.

It took an eternity for us to receive our order, and our waitress was completely absent. I could hardly order another drink if I wanted to. This was the worst service I've ever experienced! I saw another couple come in, sit for 20 minutes, and then leave without anyone even acknowledging them. Absolutely terrible!

This restaurant used to be one of my favorites, but during my last two visits, the food has been disappointing and the service has been very rude. I ordered prime rib in November, and it was the worst I've ever had. On this trip to Okeechobee, the service has continued to be unsatisfactory.

I dined at Bhrama Bull yesterday and ordered the beef brisket.

Great food. And service.
