Bidrage med feedbackSpent $50ish on wedges that were all soggy and tasted stale, meant to be like nachos, the topping was mainly a sauce with sour cream, where the hell was my cheese? Ordered a burrito which all it had in there was chicken, corn and tomato, with a side of rice which looked and tasted like a uncle bens brand from Woolworths. Ordered another thing and it came all soggy and even more disgusting then the first two put together. I want my money back that's ridiculous, I wish I took photos of the **** i received but I gave it to my dogs!! Most disgusting thing I've ever had to try and eat. Now it's 9:19pm and to late to eat anything else. Gross!!! Will be telling everyone I know to stay away from this shithole
This place is like something out of Gordon Ramsey 's kitchen nightmares. It 's clear the vegetable supplier is the freezer section from the local supermarket. The Mexican staple of guacamole isn 't so much guacamole but some 'avocado ' dip that requires you to buy in bulk and the chicken enchilada is more tuna mornay than chicken. Everything is also under-seasoned. The staff and decor however were lovely but all I 'm left with is wishing I would be waking up tomorrow with a margarita hangover instead of the impending queasy stomach, cramps and regrets of disappointing Mexican.
Brilliant! I'm surprised this place isn't more popular. Fresh and delicious. Some of the food could do with a little more spice, just because it is mexican food. I loved it all and we will be back!
Mexican restaurant name Holy Amigo. Typical food with nice Mexican decorations. Good for a weekday meal to curve your Mexican craving. More Details After work today we visited one of my local restaurants which have newly opened two months ago. The restaurant is Mexican style and it’s called Holy Amigo. The restaurant was quite spacious and the decorations gives a Mexican bar atmosphere. It also has Xmas decorations as it is close to Xmas. The restaurant was empty and we were the only customers. The only other people we saw there was a young Mexican looking girl as our waitress and a older man who was cleaning the front of the shop which could possibly be the owner. The bar area and walls decorated with skeletons The restaurant had drink specials until 7pm. They discounted the Margarita and the “Fish bowl” which is a bowl of Margarita for a few dollars cheaper. We weren’t in the mood to drink after work so couldn’t quite comment on how they taste. They do have quite a range of selection of Margaritas and other drinks to choose from. Nice atmosphere for catching up with friends The Menu had a few dishes that caught my eyes however we couldn’t pick them all. We both selected quite typical Mexican dishes. We had a starter which was Deep fried Mexican Mushrooms with sweet chilli sauce. It was quite simple and the mushrooms were ordinary button mushrooms. The batter was done well and it did taste nice but wasn’t anything special. Deep-Fried Mexican Mushrooms: lightly Mexican-spiced button mushrooms deep fried until nice and crisp, served on a bed of Mexican salad with a sweet chili sauce I had the Seafood Quesadilla. It was quite nice and I do enjoy having Quesadilla in general however it was my first time having a Quesadilla with seafood. The Quesadilla contained calamari, prawns and fish. The taste and texture was quite cheesy which was expected. Overall it was a nice dish. Seafood Quesadilla: a selection of fresh seafood baked in a creamy white wine sauce in
The food at this restaurant is average. While the family running it isn’t Mexican, they are quite friendly. However, it’s unusual for a new restaurant to have items unavailable on the menu. Additionally, there are several unfinished aspects in the space. I might not return.
