Food For Thought - Ogunquit

They came here for an event they made such a beautiful task to receive us with a vegan appetizer, salat and burger. the burger was very tasty and served with fries. a lot of bang for your buck and probably enough to feed 2 people. most of the staff here were amazingly friendly and funny. it is a relaxed atmosphere beautiful place to have some strong drinks and a burger!

The only vegan option is the oversized mac, which is delicious and I had strangely brewed at her food truck location through the nature. it was delicious, but I wish there was still some sauce! was a pretty dry burger, but still delicious.

Food for thoughts of inadvertently served animal products despite several requests to the vegan burger. I had originally ordered the burger from the Brunch menu with a substituted impossible patty and no cheese or speck jam. very clear that I didn't want any animal products. the waitress comes back later to tell me that instead they can make the impossible big mac from the lunch menu, although they only served brunch. I was very excited until my food arrived. the burger who was served me was not the impossible mac. instead I was served to the brunchburger with the impossible patty including the speck jam. it was a mistake, I think because of the miscommunication regarding the breakfast/lunch menu, but that was still disturbing. the restaurant brought the right article and was sincere in her apology – but I would advise to be very careful when I ordered to avoid animal products.

I had the Impossible Hash and it was great, I ate it super fast and it was filling and delicious. The waitress was a bit off though. Messed up orders and didn’t seem to care, but otherwise atmosphere was great.

Ended up at the Odd by nature brewery and the food for thought food truck was also there! Was great to get a Vegan Big Mac (I got the sauce on the side as I’ve never had a Big Mac before and wasn’t sure how I would like it). The outside area at the brewery is dog friendly so if you are vegan eating out with your pups the food truck here is ideal!
