Zauberflote - Offenburg

Great place! It's a bit tricky to find but once inside you found a hidden gem (especially in summer with the secret garden). Huge room, high ceilings and windows with a massice chandelier and a mirrow behind the bar that makes it special!

We used to come here every Christmas and also fairly regularly in summer. It's always been outstanding both food and drinkwise. Their salads are excellent. The garden to the back is enchanting, and the main cafe/restaurant is beautifully decorated with oversized mirrors, chandeliers and tables....Unfortunately, on my last visit the cocktails were poor. than poor. They were worse than at that Coyote place! I don't know if it was a one off it happened once before that the cocktails were below standard so we complained and promptly got much improved drinks. This time, we were too busy to complain we had to catch up and socialise after all! But I wish the standards wouldn't slip. The cocktails are too expensive for that and Offenburg can't afford to lose one of its prime meeting places.

Beautiful big room with a good Ambiente. Small menu but very well prepared and they also have very good cocktails. Its harder to find as up front is another food bar in the same house. Go around the corner and after 20 meter there is...the entry. Enjoy!

Schöne saisonale Karte, sehr gute Beratung bzgl. Essen und Wein. Geschmacklich ausgezeichnet, das Ambiente im Innenhof war sehr gemütlich und schön.

Die Bar für Insider ist zwar sehr klein, aber man bekommt dort Getränke, die es sonst nirgendwo gibt. Ist etwas für Liebhaber, nicht zum Massenbierkonsum geeignet, ruhige Atmosphäre.
