Sugarfire Smoke House - O'Fallon

Out of milk for milkshakes. Bummer on a Sunday. Everything else was amazing as my prior visit. I wish I could have taken to go on my plane home. Delicious!!!!!!

This place is a good smokehouse BBQ place; the food and the prices are a bit high but not bad overall for the food portions. The only issue I had here was the number of flies outside. It was so hard to eat out without flies landing on the food or trying to. It was a battle of slapping the flies left and right. Either way, the food was good. Great meats and sides. They almost have too many sauces to chose from. Bbq nachos when they have them are great. Rib burger is stupid good. Brisket toasted ravioli? Yes please.

First time ordering from this location and probably won’t again. Portobello sandwich was slimy and cold, Carolina sandwich was overloaded with coleslaw and the bun was soggy, meat was cold as well. Fries were fresh upon receipt however looked and tasted horrible. Corn bread was alright at best but quite underwhelming. For the price there’s way better places to eat BBQ. Will update if I decide to try something else but not likely. Only good thing I can end with is the sauces are great.

I would really give it 4.5 stars. Honestly probably closer to 5. I think the only points lost were because of small drink cups and no silverware. But it was so good I ate it like the wild west and it was still worth it. I would have taken more pics but honestly this is top 5 brisket I have had hands down. Key Lime was perfect.
