Golden Corral Buffet And Grill

I arrived at the restaurant at 6:30 PM, and many of the food containers were already empty. Some dishes appeared to have been sitting out for quite a while. I was informed that the chicken would take fifteen minutes to be ready, but when I checked back, I was told it would take another thirty minutes. Overall, I would rate the food a 2, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.

My mom and I wanted to have lunch at this restaurant on Friday, June 9, 2023, but we found a sign on the doors stating that it was closed for remodeling. It's puzzling, especially since I've read recent reviews from customers who were there just the day before. Now, suddenly, Golden Corral is closed for renovations? I can't shake the feeling that this location might be shutting down for good. However, I do remember that a month or two ago, their food was excellent and the service was top-notch! So, what's going on?

Server and salad bar was only thing worth anything. Wednesday evening, not busy at all. Buffet half full and what was there looked old and dry. The man working the grill was saying he was gonna take a break, as well as he pulled his phone out and was on it (had in earbuds as well) with same gloves on that he was cooking with and after continuing to go on messing with the food never changing them. I also seen same milk gallon setting out the whole hour we were there letting me know time and temp control wasn't anything they made a priority. My son loves Golden Coral as he can get any and all he wants but I told him this would be the last time we came to this location. Last time was a bad visit as well. Won't be no 3rd times a charm. Place is trash.
