Bands here are usually good, drinks are a bit pricey, food is not good, it has really gone downhill. Odd layout, you have to walk to the very front of the stage and hang a rt to get to the bathrooms......anyone designing a live music venue you want thebathrooms on the opposite side of the stage. Diamond Music Hall out in St. Chuck is a much better set up and venue for livemusic.
We were there on a Sunday evening. Business was slow and one young woman was the only person taking care of the few customers. Service was a little slow. My wife's order was totally wrong. My War-Hog sandwich was good. We were hoping the Rap music thatwas being played might change after a couple songs, but it continued the entire hour we were there. We would have chose adifferent restaurant if we would have known in advance.
It has been awhile since I have eaten here. I think they upped there game on the grub. I got the smoked turkey meal and daaaaaaamn it was good. Large portion and it had nice thick slices of turkey breast, not cut up cubes like other BBQ joints. Thesides are homemade too. I had the coleslaw and green beans, and they were very good. Also got an order of the wings. The wingswere big and juicy, some of the best I have had. I did get this order to-go. The bartender was very nice and sociable. Food cameright out, and it was nice and hot when I got home. Hats of to the chef! Brewskeez has moved up on my list.
Great place but getting a drunk from the bar is like nobody wants to help you. Waitresses get the job done tho and quick!! Platinum Rock Legends were great to see there.
