Arctura Östersund - Oestersund

The place was really nice. The view was spectacular thanks to the height and the panoramic windows. The food was quite good. Despite of the fact it is self serving restaurant I thought that the variety would be much more. The food that I ate was good. Anyway, it’s a nice place for a simple midweek lunch.

A day with clear weather, the views are magical here. They serve lunch and the restaurant is open on evenings. Well cooked food and great service.

I went there this Friday and the lunch buffet was FANTASTIC: Yes, the scenery and the Biathlon stadium is stunning as well obviously, but- frankly speaking- the buffet selection and the kind owners beat it all for me. I ended up taking the elevator downstairs in a beautiful food coma and definitely will be back in winter! If hearty Scandinavian food makes you happy, definitely pay Arctura Restaurang a visit when you are in Östersund:
