Bidrage med feedbackWe were glad to find this place open and welcoming (and with more than pizza on the menu) in the pre-season--and enjoyed it so much we ate both evening meals we had in the village there. The daily special, with a glass of house wine or other beverage included, was an exceptional bargain, and portions very generous.
Oregrund will be a beautiful town in the sunshine, but just after midsummer this year the weather was so cold that it was pretty grim and unwelcoming. We took refuge in this restaurant as it at least had some shelter out of the wind. It had few pretensions and delivered few frills. The menu featured pizzas, kebabs and little else. Service was slow and not entirely helpful, but the food was tasty enough. The bill for 8 of us was relatively modest so as i say, you get what you pay for.
The employees are so rude, they sound so falling and we were asked to show our id’s twice! terrible service and extremely expensive drinks!
Nice location on the waterfront. The food was average though. There's nothing wrong with it but it's just not great! The ingredients used are just very average. My daughter had fish and chips; the fish was clearly frozen battered fish (rather than fresh fish battered in the restaurant). I had a pizza and things like the olives were clearly bulk, cheap ingredients. The prices are fine for what you get and it's not *bad* food. The location is great and you kind of expect to get a similarly great meal. What you actually get is food from a standard, community pizzeria.
I should order the 'Husets jaktlåda', which proposes an assortment of meat from a hunting trip. After the question, the waiter (who was barely spoken Swedish) actually contained common pork pliers... As a five-headed company we all ordered the grill plate, which sounded as a nice selection of meat and sauce from the menu. Everything went downhill from there... A question about the grape of one of the wines on the menu led to the waiter NOT shows us two more bottles on the menu!? ... The waiter assured us that the price was the same. The food was a complete dispersion, all on the plate for all five of us was cold. A grill plate means a cheap sausage cut in half, some chewing meat, a few slices of bacon and two small pumpkin vegetables. When we comment on the temperature, we have the explanation that it was because the kitchen was open in both ends.... When we left, they tried to calculate an additional SEK 50 for the wine. So, my message to all, do not go near this place, even if you are paid..
