Casa Olé - Odessa

We used to really enjoy this restaurant, but our recent experience was disappointing. The empty parking lot during dinner should have been a warning sign. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning anytime soon. The food was overly salty, making it nearly inedible. The only redeeming aspect was the chips and the red and green salsa, which were quite good.

However, by 7:30 PM, with no food in sight and our cups running dry, concern began to grow. When we found out at 7:45 PM that one of the dishes couldn’t be prepared, we dreaded the thought of waiting even longer. Amazingly, our food finally arrived at 8:00 PM—90 minutes after we had arrived! Unfortunately, the meals were lukewarm, and even my four-year-old was hesitant to eat hers, especially since some of the chicken looked brown. After a few courageous family members sampled the food, we ultimately decided to head home and have peanut butter and jelly sandwiches instead. I strongly recommend thinking twice before putting yourself through this experience.

We met a couple at the restaurant for dinner. The chips and salsa were abundant, and we kicked things off by adding a large queso. While the others ordered various Mexican food platters, I opted for the broiled chicken sandwich with fries. I enjoyed two margaritas, which were just right. The sandwich was delicious, and the drinks were spot on. Our server was attentive and friendly throughout our visit.

To start off I called them to ask about wait time and they said there was no wait, I get there 2 min after I called and they said there was a 15 min wait ended up waiting almost 30 min. I got seated and waited 10 min for a server to tend to my table, she got our drink order and brought it to us then she just left, we had to wait another 15 min for her to come back and take our food order. We waited another 30 min for our food and it looked and tasted like it was cooked in a microwave. We were never offered drink refills and when i flagged her down to get refills she said she would get it and peft the table, I didnt see her again after that. It was absolutely the worst service I've had at restaurant. I don't recommend wasting your money here.

Took forever for food to reach the table. A couple that ordered at the same time as us got their food, ate it, and left before we got our food. The food was horrible. 2 out of 10. Waitress didn’t keep drinks filled. The dust that we complained about being in middle areas above tables at the beginning of August was still there. Nasty!!! The manager didn’t even ask us how our dinner was. My husband said that for her to hear, and she walked away.
