Service was excellent, atmosphere was great, good live music, great desserts, comfy booth seats. Great place for our 32nd Wedding Anniversary!

Our server was quite attentive. Our entrees were good. The food was beautifully presented.However, dessert time was problematic. We ordered dessert 30 minutes before the time we needed to get to our next event which was just a few feet away in the same building. With only 10 minutes left, I finally had to ask our waiter about our desserts. I tried to cancel our order, but he really dissuaded us from that (probably because he would lose money on his tip—I can't really blame him). He offered a takeout container, but we weren't going home immediately so that wouldn't work. Finally, we got our desserts with only minutes to spare. I would've liked to enjoy my dessert with coffee, but time did not allow. Now about the desserts: peach crumble (good), chocolate cake(nothing special), crème brûlée—quite disappointing. I know what crème brûlée should be. I've made it many times. This crème brûlée was not really crème brûlée. There was no custard base—only a thick whipped cream. These desserts should have taken only a few minutes to serve: none for the chocolate cake, a few minutes to warm the peach crumble, a few minutes to brown the crème brûlée sugar topping. Unfortunately for you, the three of us are excellent cooks and experienced diners. We like this restaurant and would like for it to live up to its reputation and prices. I hope you will attend to these matters.

We heard great things about this restaurant so we decided to give it a go for date night. Definitely would have went somewhere else. On arrival we were sat immediately, however I did request to have a different seat due to not being very intimate, I was advised she couldn't do that because they “have sections” and it would confuse the servers. although they had plenty of open seating One sat I sank so low into the seat that the table was too high for comfortable eating. My husband asked the other hostess and she obliged to his request. Food: Husband had the chicken fry with mashed potatoes jalapeño gravy. Chicken fry severely lacked flavor, no seasoning at all, mashed potatoes were ice cold, and the gravy had decent flavor but did not taste homemade. We advised another server about the potatoes and they did replace them, but when you have to wait your other food gets cold. I had the steak salad, steak was cooked to specification of medium and was tender but lacked seasoning as well. The bed of lettuce all that went with was standard but did taste good. Peach crumble for dessert, it was par for the course, seemed to have fresh peaches but not much flavor. I was thinking about ordering the redfish but decided differently, however, I did ask a gentleman how his was and he gave me a look if disappointment and said it was scaly and overcooked. Drinks: a beer on tap The Archie Special. Beer was fine, Archie was good but a bit watered down do to the fact of it sotting at the bar for too long. Server was advised it was ready but took at least another 10 mins to get it to me. the other server should have brought it, by the way. Service Atmosphere: Atmosphere was not cozy, intimate or inviting leaving below standard expectations of the Marriott. Service was ok, she did fix issues but for a restaurant, again, with the Marriott name it should have been better. Overpriced and subpar -would not refer and wont return.

Wine tasting was so much fun and the manager did a great job.
