Agave Jalisco Odem, Tx

I ordered #30, was disgusting! I'm never coming back.

Driving in from Houston to Brownsville Texas we always wanted to stop by at Agave Jalisco in Odem, TX but we were always hesitant with small town restaurants. I can say our first time experience was 5 stars. They bring out a red salsa that for me was tasty but not hot. But let me tell you the real hot sauces you have to ask. The green creamy and the red creamy habanero compliment perfectly with out hot food. Nothing was cold. Oh and if you like draft beer, this is the place, hey bring out a big colf pilsner. Big TV's at the bar to watch football. Totally recommend. We will be stopping again. The service was exceptional. Only one server but our food was out like in 10 minutes.

If I could choose zero stars I would do it for this place . Nasty food and not enough ppl working . One waitress and she was ok but she looked tired . Paid $110 dollars and food wasn’t worth it . Don’t call this place Mexican restaurant because tortillas are from HEB .

I took my mom for her 70th birthday to go visit her sister out Robstown which is nearby to Odem. So we stopped in at this Jalisco for a early dinner our first time there. I cannot praise the staff enough especially Norma our server who took great care of my mom and tias while we were there. She was very very attentive to everything from food to drinks to great customer service. To the point where she helped me walk my aunt and mom to my truck as these two ladies thought there 20 again slamming two whole margaritas. Lol Thank you so much Norma!!!?? So we will definitely stop in again when visiting, good food, great staff, and a good memory made with my mom.. lol
