Though I do enjoy Ocracoke Coffee Co as well, they are as close to commercialism as the island gets. The Magic Bean carries the spirit of the island best. The service is quality and products wonderful. I love to get iced tea which you pick your tea leaves and wait a bit for it to be brewed then iced. While you wait you chat with everyone there and relax while getting to know the owner and their family. If it's hard for you to relax then the O Coffe Co might be perfect for you but when you are properly on island time you want to be at the Magic Bean!

This place is awesome. It seems to be more of a local hangout, which I'm attracted to, more so than the other big coffee shop on the island. This is a must stop for coffee lovers while visiting the island.

What a cool, funky, interesting, awesome place! I had the best smoothie espresso I've ever had! Loved the decor!

This place is amazing and the owner is the nicest, friendliest, and funniest host! We went down the way to Ocracoke coffee BEFORE we found Magic Bean and it was good but extremely busy and noisy. Magic Bean has a more local chill vibe while still serving better coffee and blended drinks and awesome snacks! Great vibe and amazing service!
