While traveling in Jamaica, I was feeling hangry after a long day. I called Canada to ask for recommendations for a vegan restaurant in Jamaica. They provided me with a phone number, and the person on the line directed me to this location. Let me tell you, it was definitely worth it! The restaurant serves raw vegan food that is both healthy and delicious. (Updated from previous review on 2019-03-11)

I had an amazing experience at this raw vegan restaurant. The raw pizza was so delicious that we ended up getting an extra one to take home for dinner. The food was fresh and prepared to our liking. The service was also excellent.

Mi Hungry Ocho Rios is the North coast location of the franchise, with branches also in Kingston and Mandeville. It is the only live (raw) food restaurant chain in Jamaica, and it is fully plant-based and vegan. The menu features standard dishes with creative Rasta-inspired names like nyam burger (ham burger), pleazza (pizza), and hookies (cookies), all made with expertly prepared ingredients such as nut milks and marinated and sunfired foods. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, and the meals offer good value in terms of portion size and taste for the price. Praise Rastafari!
