Partake Gastropub - Oceanside

My favorite restaurant in vista. this place is so unique and so delicious, it is a dream. they can taste the love and the love for detail that goes into the food that is more and more rare to find in these days. everyone who visits north county san diego must enter and give them an attempt.

Impressed after our very first visit! The focus here is on wine, and there's a small food menu to pair. There was a good selection of craft beers as well, so something for everyone. Great spot for a bite and drinks. The dining room and bar area are separated, so depending on the occasion there is seating to compliment whatever you're in the mood for. There was live music in the bar area when we were there, which made for nice background sounds while we ate in the dining room. Service was top notch. The server was knowledgeable about the menu, wine pairing and was overall awesome. The food was good, but not astounding. I was pleased with everything we ordered, but there's room for improvement on flavors and execution. Great spot, and looking forward to a return trip!

Unique atmosphere, food was really good. Loved the service and the vibe. Cool patio and a band too!

Obviously amazing small place. It has two sides to the restaurant and upon my visit I was on the smaller of the sides with one other group present (which was a Wednesday afternoon). The baked brie is small, mac and cheese was flavorful, and my spinach salad had the perfect amount of dressing as well as bleu cheese. I enjoyed the meal, ambience, and almost small town feel to this place. It may be a tiny place on the outside, but the food is mighty!

My friend and I just tried Partake for the first time. The owner-chef Keith came over to our table and spent a few moments telling us about his challenges with the road construction outside. It’s a shame because the place deserves so much support- and yet sometimes it can be intimidating to get through the construction zone. The food is fantastic. Please give it a try. ITS WORTH IT!
