Dining Terrace - OCEANPORT

Finding help was difficult, but it’s unacceptable for a restaurant to operate without running water and to have overflowing toilets. The lunch menu was around $32 per person and offered limited choices, with additional options available for an extra charge. However, I have to commend the host, who went out of his way to accommodate diners, as he has done for the past 30 years. Our waitress, a blonde with a ponytail, was delightful and very accommodating. Monmouth Park Racing offers such a fun day, and it was disheartening to see the restaurant in such poor condition. I love attending the afternoon races, and I hope that improvements can be made so that it becomes a more enjoyable experience with a better food selection and more reasonable prices.

As for the service, it was lacking. The servers seemed disinterested, and we often had to track someone down for drinks. There were even times when we had to go to the bar ourselves for refills. We were celebrating my husband's birthday, and the whole experience was very disappointing. Honestly, we would have had a better time sitting on a bench downstairs. I cannot recommend this venue.

The food on the dining terrace at Monmouth Park is excellent, and the service staff has always been friendly during our visits. It's a fantastic spot to experience the races while enjoying a meal, placing bets, and socializing.

The restaurant has declined over the past few years. The portion sizes and quality of the food don't justify the prices. The highlight of our lunch was the Oreo cheesecake. The coffee was average, but it wasn't very hot. Overall, the dining experience was a significant disappointment.

Fantastic spot for lunch where you can grab a bite to eat while keeping an eye on all the races. The waiter was incredibly attentive.
