I loved the decor and the music right away. The fattoush salad was the best I’ve had in 10 years! The lamb shank was tender and delicious and the rice so flavorful!!! I’m in love! Coming back tomorrow for round two!!! The one man who was the waiter and the cook, did an amazing job because I didn’t have to wait very long at all and my dishes just kept coming out fabulously!!! A hidden gem in Ocean Township. Huge menu with a variety of Mediterranean and Egyptian specialties plus daily specials. We have eaten in and taken out multiple times and have loved everything. Top NJ chef who crafts dishes with incredible taste and presentation. It’s an absolute must visit! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This food is absolutely delicious. Had the babaganoush, fatoush salad and vegetarian mousakka. Every dish blew me away. Very nice staff, family friendly atmosphere. They were nice enough to split the moussaka on two plates for myself and my sister. Will be back!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My wife and I went here solely based on the yelp and Google reviews. The food was absolutely incredible. Just calling it Mediterranean would do it an injustice. The vegetarian Moussaka was like nothing I ever had. The flavors were incredible. If you are looking for something out of the ordinary and a wonderful dining experience, give Cafe 28 a try.
