Bidrage med feedbackStopped by The Dawghouse Grille for breakfast. GREAT local place for breakfast fare. Menu includes traditional Southern treats: fluffy pancakes, yummy biscuits and awesome sausage gravy. Nice sized servings; we did not go away hungry. Only thing not to my taste were the grits. Their regular grit have parmesian cheese and onion in them, but the menu does not tell you this). Service was fast and very friendly. We will definitely return to this little gem of a restaurant.
Friendly group, food was really good and service was spectacular. Owner visited the table and offered free toys for the kids .
We stopped in for breakfast. It took a while to get our order but it was worth the wait. A nice touch was the basket of toys that they let the kids pick from. We returned the next day to enjoy this great food once again. The experience was the same until a couple that was seated at the counter left. After paying their tab and leaving the restaurant, the server made a comment to the other customer at the counter, I don 't agree with that, and he ask with what? She replied, women with women. She was wearing a shirt that said, let Jesus be the judge. She should follow her t-shirts advise. I didn 't care to hear that comment. That was very inappropriate and not what I wanted to hear about another paying customer. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, but when you are in customer service your beliefs should be left at the door and all customers of your establishment should be treated the same during their visit and after they leave. This couple ate their food, paid their check, and caused no harm to anyone. The behavior of your server was uncalled for. If you are going to respond with a smart comment, don 't bother to respond.
Small family dinner. Good food, wasn't disappointed on portions. Not a quick in and out, though there were only 2 other tables. Chairs made you feel like you were falling backward. Limited parking. Outside seating available. Nothing really special about the diners' atmosphere. A few dog related signs and a few dishes dog related. If you're looking for a laid back dining experience, this may be for you. Edit: Reduced Star rating. Service wasn't good to begin with, as stated previously, and making fun of a customer's honest opinion after the fact is not the way to improve the situation or your public relations. The signs all over your diner say Dog, not Dawg, which is the nontraditional spelling of Dog, sometimes used to refer to hot-dogs. You're a hot dog stand with AC. If your goal is to run a diner that makes fun of people, you're not advertising it very well. Will not be back.
Huge Nathan's ⅑lb hotdogs plus lots of other food. Busy place. Service so so. One waitress. Lots of customers. Good prices.
