This restaurant, located at a golf club, offers some of the finest food in Ocean Grove. The menu features beautifully crafted authentic Indonesian dishes alongside classic Australian favorites. As for the service, it's excellent. I dined here for dinner, and the price ranged from $20 to $40 per person.
10 out of 10! highly recommended if u became hungry after completing her golf. Плидлили длич
The Bunker is the bistro at Ocean Grove Golf Club. A bright venue over looking the course and Barwon River. Sensational sunsets. Old club but clean updated and friendly. The Bunker is open for Dinner certain days depending upon season. It is family run and the meals are delicious and reasonably priced. The Indonesian cook has got a menu to suit everyone but try her curries they are sensational. Thursday nights are very popular as you get choice three curries rice and a wine or pot $24.went back Saturday evening and had tempura King Prawns yum John had the mixed plate which had a taste of all the curries and rice the others had steaks which were cooked perfectly. Rick is a great host and whether your seated in the restaurant or bar or outside he will make sure you have a wonderful night. The bar here is serviced by volunteers so Drink prices are also good and there is a happy hour every night.
We came early for dinner at 5:30pm. The meals came out quickly and they were very good. I ordered eggplant cannelloni. It had a lovely salad surrounding and it went very well together. My partner ordered the chicken parmigiana, he agreed it was as good as you can get. We also had garlic herb pizza. I was pleasantly surprised with the delicious cannelloni and totally finished my meal. The pizza was also delicious. The bistro doesn't look much but the food was great. The chef brought out our meals with a smile. I had pavlova for desert. The fruit, cream and slight drizzle of raspberry sauce on the plate were great but the meringue tasted a little stale. The bistro doesn't look impressive and there were plenty of loud golf members enjoying happy hour at the bar. On entry we weren't welcomed into the bistro or seated or given menus. It's worth going just for the food though.
