Nick's - Ocean City

I'm going to Nick's for most of my life when I'm on the beach. I have the restaurant through highs and lows, had good meals and lousy meals. I recently stopped and ordered a full rib together with frits and a loaded potato and I am glad to report that everything was delicious. The ribs were falling and the sauce was fantastic, just as I remember. My biggest complaint is the price-share-size ratio. For a 10-bone ribbed plate (Nick's has 4 options, from 4 bones to 12-14 bones), I paid $36.99. Add 2 to 4 more bones and you pay $43.99! This is a $7 difference for 2 more bones of meat! That's crazy! When price inflation continues along this trend, I do not see these restaurants survive. Finally, too many people are paid out and visits to restaurants for special occasions, if at all. Otherwise I enjoyed the food and Nick gets 4 stars. My server, Anastasia, was great! I'm sorry, I came so late and thank you for waiting for me!

I went the other day and it was great, the ribs were great and flavorful. I had the nicks sauce and it was great. The fries were very crispy and my corn was seasoned great. The server was newer, he was a very cool dude and did good, he helped me decide on what I wanted. I also had the carrot cake and my friend ordered the cheese cake. The cheese cake was great and had a very good raspberry filling on top, it reminded me of a pastry filling. And the carrot cake was my favorite item of the night, it was super flavorful and the icing was great, I loved the nuts in the frosting. This place was great and I think the other negative reviews are just looking for a reaction. I definitely recommend this place

Ate outside and had a great server. Live music was pleasant, and the food was perfect. Ribs were fall off the bone, and the Nick?s Bbq hit perfectly. The steak frites had great flavor as well. Keep it up Nick?s.

Excellent for Hot Wings (mild). The wings were nostalgic of the Anchor Bar in Buffalo NY. Perfect! Had a rack of ribs where the meat fell off the bones.

First time here. The place was very busy. Waited 30 minutes which is what we were quoted. The Christmas themed decor was nice. Our server Tony was awesome! He was very friendly and knowledgeable. The cream of crab soup was perfect! Ribs fell off the bone! Crab cake very tasty! Prices are a little on the higher side but considering you are at the beach, not bad at all. The quality of the food was worth the price. We are locals so will definitely be back!
